Sometime in 2024 I discovered a vintage book called ‘Nurseries of Heaven’. The book was falling apart. I took it home and repaired it, and began to draw into the book, mainly on top of illustrations of flowers, trees, and birds. Since then I have sought out more copies to draw into, and to read. I am currently working on a body of paintings inspired by the book, and the theme, Nurseries of Heaven.
